On Monday's Déise Today, Damien was chatting to Grace. Grace rang into WLR over the issue of her deceased mother and her grave in Kilbarry graveyard that had been vandalised on Sunday evening.

Grace recalled her story of yesterday night when her father decided to go up to her wife's grave, who unfortunately had passed away only nine months ago. To her father's dismay, he saw that his wife's grave, as well as other peoples graves throughout Killbarry cemetery, had been vandalised with lantern's and flower's were all kicked over.

Grace tells us how her father returned home and began to frantically go around the house trying to get cleaning supplies and items to go up to the grave again to clean it. She says that her father was distraught.

Grace doesn't understand as to why people would do such a thing, "It's simply a graveyard, why do people want to do such a thing". She doesn't believe that there would be CCTV camera footage available but hopes that their might be. She is asking for people that may have any information about this to come forward with information not just for her family but for other families that might have been affected by this.
