On Tuesday's version of 'Déise Today', Damien was talking to Mary and John Stephens who was on the show to talk about their 28-year-old daughter Cassie.
Cassie suffers from a genetic disorder called 'Tuberous Sclerosis Complex'. This means that she has 14 calcium tumours on her brain, which means that she can suffer up to 300 epileptic seizures per month.
Last December, the Stephen's along with 16 other families in Ireland were granted to access the cannabis oil, THC, in Holland. Mary said it had made a huge difference to Cassie's life.
However, they recently got a letter from the HSE to say that they are not going to refund the cost.
Mary and John now say that they can't afford to continue to pay for it themselves and are calling on the HSE to act.
Mary calls on the Minister For Health, Simon Harris to come down to Waterford and see what Cassie has to go through all the time. She says that "We are not a bad family, we are simply trying to do the best that we can for our daughter".

Also on the show, Damien was speaking to Paula Dalton and Vivienne Burns.
Paula is a parent of two autistic boys, who was on to talk about the review taking place of the 'Domiciliary Allowance', which is a payment giving to parents of children requiring ongoing care and attention.
Vivienne and Paula both believe that this review is not what is needed, as parents are already stressed with having to deal with their kids as it is. The last thing that they want is having to deal with this extra financial distress as well.
