On Friday, Damien and the WLR street team were in Waterford shopping centre Lisduggan and along with plenty of chat on lighter topics, we also had two debates for the upcoming local elections with candidates in the Waterford City South area.
In the first debate was councillor Jason Murphy of Fianna Fail, Labour candidate Seamus Ryan, councillor Breda Brennan of Sinn Fein and also Independent Brendan Byrne.
In the second debate was councillor John Cummins of Fine Gael, councillor John Hearne of Sinn Fein, Green Party candidate Susan Gallagher and Ronan Cleary of Aontu.
