On Thursday's 'Déise Today', Damien was talking to Bernadette Ryan, a relationships counsellor who has a fortnightly slot to discuss several topics.
Her topic this week was on 'The Jeremy Kyle show' which was axed this week. ITV axed The Jeremy Kyle Show after the suspected suicide of Steve Dymond, 63, a guest who had tried to prove to his fiance that he had not cheated on her.
He was found dead ten days later.
People are now questioning if whether these shows are exploiting vulnerable people and should they now be considered a thing of the past.
ITV had already faced criticism following the deaths of former Love Island stars Mike Thalassitis and Sophie Gradon.
Gradon, 32, hanged herself last year after drinking alcohol and taking cocaine, a coroner concluded in April. An inquest into Thalassitis's death is yet to take place.
ITV are now being accused of 'hypocrisy' by some Jeremy Kyle fans for axing the show but not Love Island, and it has been argued that the reason that Love Island has not been pulled off the air is due to the massive ratings that the show pulls into ITV.

Damien was talking to Shane Beatty of Newstalk on the arrest of three Gardai this morning and the also what looks like to be the visit of Donald Trump to his golf course in Co. Clare.
We also had the band 'Hooks and Crooks' which consists of Seamus McGrath, Oliver Lupton, Joe Phelan and Frank Walsh who are promoting the 'Dunmore East Nimmo 200 Seafaring Festival of Music and Song' which takes place from tonight to Sunday!
