On Friday's show, Damien and the 'Déise Today' team were live from Specsavers in City Square shopping centre to celebrate
Now located in City Square, Specsavers have been serving customers in Waterford since 1994 and have built up a superb reputation with the people of the Déise.
As well as chatting to the staff and customers of Specsavers, Damien met people who are associated with the charities and clubs Specsavers Waterford supports. This included Jen, who works with the Waterford branch of the 'Irish Guide Dogs'.
Also, the Harris brothers came in and played some songs to finish off the program.
We also gave away 3 x €150 vouchers for Specsavers Waterford.
There was also the usual Street Team games, goodies and of course face-painting.
