LISTEN BACK: Burglars have been feeding dogs raw meat laced with poison in the Fenor area

Burglars have been feeding household dogs in the Fenor area raw meat laced with poison. One dog in the locality has passed away due to poising.

Speaking to Eamon Fenor resident John Hayes whose own dog was poisoned said " They [burglars] will throw poisoned meat into your driveway or garden, which will dispose of the dog and the deterrent."

According to John the burglars do what is called 'tagging', driving around investigating potential places to burgle and marking them.
