A Kerry pig farmer has blasted "mislabeling" of foreign meat as Irish on the shelves of a supermarket. Contributing Editor of John and Sally McKenna (food) Guides Eamon Barrett described the mislabeling as a "real flaw in the European labeling laws."
Speaking to Maria the Waterford man said: " This meat would have started out as a big slab of pork coming into Ireland and hows its allowed to have an Irish flag is because someone from Ireland has either packaged or sliced the meat."
