Sisters Maeve Hearne Russell and Brighid Hearne and Denny Lawlor from Hook SubAqua Club with a tribute to popular Garda Dave Hearne, who drowned tragically off Hook Head in May 2019. Gda Hearne saved 9 people from drowning during his life, and was awarded a National Bravery Award in October 2016 for saving two people from drowning in separate incidents 10 days apart in Waterford city and Dungarvan in 2014. Today would have been his birthday.
