Josephine passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Anne’s Dementia Care Unit, Dungarvan Communinty Hospital on Monday 7th August 2023. Predeceased by her infant daughter Brenda, parents John and Maureen and her brother Tom.
Josephine will be deeply mourned and sadly missed by her daughters Jennifer and Susan, sons Cormac, Gerard and Joey, along with daughters-in-law Cliona and Rebecca, sons-in-law Mark and Michael, grandchildren Conal, Josie, Ina, Jack, Oscar, Liadh and Laragh. Deeply regretted by her sisters Mary, Helena, Pauline, and Ann, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.
Josephine will lie in repose at The Kiely Funeral Home, Dungarvan, on Tuesday evening, 8th August, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with Prayers at 6.30 p.m.
Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday 9th August at 11 a.m. at Butlerstown Church, Co. Waterford, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Josephine’s family would like to express their sincere thanks to the dedicated staff of St. Anne’s Dementia Care Unit who provided exceptional care and companionship to Jo since November 2021 and also her neighbours and friends for all their kindness and support.
