John Holohan, 51 Closegate, Castle Street, Waterford

Who died on 22nd January 2025.

Formerly of Port of Waterford, Waterford Harbour Commissioners and The Thomas Francis Meagher Fife and Drum Band.

Predeceased by his mother Elizabeth, father Martin, sister Lily and his infant brother Patrick.

Sadly, missed by his brothers Martin, Thomas, sister Mai, brothers-in-law Michael and Frank, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May He Rest in Peace

Reposing at Thompson's Funeral Home, Barrack Street on (Friday 24th) from 7pm to 8:30pm with vigil prayers and rosary at 8pm.

Johns’ funeral cortege will walk from his residence (51 Closegate, Castle Street) on Saturday 25th January to St. John’s Church, Parnell Street, Waterford, for mass on arrival at 11am.

followed by burial in St. Otteran’s Cemetery, Ballinaneeshagh, Waterford.

I was so sad to hear the death of john . I will mis walking home half way with john after 6 o clock mass in st john,s church . He was very kind and always had the time to have chat with you .He also attend the pray group in st john,s for short will and have very storng faith.
