John died peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the Palliative Care Unit of the University Hospital Waterford following an illness, borne with great dignity. A dearly loved husband, father and grandfather. John will be sadly missed by his wife Bríd, daughter Fiona, sons Declan, Brendan, Séan and James, grandchildren John, Niamh, Séan, Aoife, Amy, Tomás, Diarmuid, Isla and Ayda, son-in-law Richard, partners Kim, Caroline and Aidan, sisters Barbara and Margaret, brothers James and Raymond, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his residence on Wednesday (14th December) from 4 pm to 7 pm.
Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11 am in the Holy Family Church, Luke Wadding Street, Waterford followed by private cremation.
No flowers please, donations if desired to the Waterford Palliative Care Team
