John Brennan, Daisy Terrace, Waterford.

Who died on Monday 2nd December 2024.

Late of Main Street, Mooncoin, Co. Kilkenny.

Former Vice-Principal of the Presentation Convent Secondary School, Waterford.

Deeply mourned by his loving wife Eileen, sons Thomas and John Aidan, daughter Bernadette, daughters-in-law Sonya and Adonïa, son-in-law Marcellus.

He will be forever missed by his beloved grandchildren Cara, Matthias, Belle and Andreas, sister Mary (Coe), brother-in-law Paddy, sister-in-law Maureen, nephews, nieces, extended family and his wide circle of close friends.

May He Rest in Peace

Reposing at Thompsons Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Waterford on Wednesday (4th December) from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm with vigil prayers and Rosary at 8:00 pm.

Requiem Mass on Thursday (5th December) at 10:30 am in the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity, Barronstrand Street, Waterford, followed by burial in Mooncoin Old Cemetery (Chapel Street).

Mass will be live streamed at 10:30 am by following the Funeral Service link 

Family flowers only please donations if desired to the Irish Heart Foundation.

I am so very sad to hear of John's passing. Sincere & heartfelt sympathy to his family. I am an ex pupil of " Mr Brennan" as we called him. He instilled in me such a love of geography that it has lived with me throughout my life. Always always a true gentleman with a sense of humour. John, you were one teacher I never ever forgot. Rest easy.
