Formerly of Newport Square.

Predeceased by her husband John, brother Tom and sister Mary.

Eily died peacefully surrounded by her family in the kind and gentle care of the staff at SignaCare Nursing Home, Ferrybank, Waterford.

Very sadly missed by her loving daughters Margaret and Eleanor, her son John, son’s in-law Geoff and Jimmy, her daughter-in-law-Bernie, her adoring grandchildren Ian, Rory, Scott, Tim, Lindsay, Andrew and Sarah, her great grandchildren Dylan, Alana, Gabriel, Daniel, Bodhi, Kobe, Roslyn, Lauryn and Amalie, her sisters Rita, Bobby and Allie, her nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

May Eily Rest In Peace

Reposing at Thompsons Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Waterford on Monday (26th December) from 3 pm to 4:30 pm with vigil prayers and rosary at 4 pm.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday in the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity Within, Waterford at 1 pm followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

The Family would like to thank Bridget and the wonderful Staff at the Holy Ghost Residential Home where Mam spent several very happy years before she became ill, and Dr Helen Connolly for her care and support over the years and particular during Mam’s final days. A heartfelt thank you also to Bernie, Grainne and all the wonderful Nursing and Care Staff at Signacare Nursing Home for the dignity, care and respect you offered to Mam and for your kindness to the family during these recent days.
