Derek Meade, Meadowbrook, Tramore.
Passed peacefully after a long illness bravely borne,in the wonderful care of the staff of Waterford University Hospital.
Predeceased by his brother in-law-law Dr Setty and sadly by his grand-nephew Finn Meade (aged 4),
Who passed away suddenly on 29th of July 2021 in Boston, MA.
Derek will be deeply regretted by his loving wife of 56 years Sheelagh; by his daughter Catherine; and his sons Mark, Ian, and Brian; his much loved grandchildren Aaron, Nicholas, Matthew, and Lily; his daughter-in-law Tavrina and his son-in-law Donal Maher; and Mark's partner Shelly; his sisters Neasa (India), Alma, and Oonagh; his brother Brian (Boston); and his brother-in-law and life long friend Brendan O'Mahony. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, neighbours, and friends.

Reposing privately at Falconer's Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore, on Sunday, the 8th of August, from 5 pm to 6 pm. For those who wish to participate remotely at Derek's reposal, please follow the link here
Requiem Mass on Monday, the 9th of August, at 11:30 am at the Holy Cross Church, Tramore,
followed by burial immediately afterwards in St. Declan's cemetery.
