Dungarvan Brass Band Play To Packed Church for SVP Appeal

The Dungarvan Brass Band packed the crowds into The Friary Church on Wednesday evening for a special Christmas concert, despite stormy weather.

The event was run as part of the Christmas Appeal and also featured the talents of The Voiceover Choir, The Friary Choir, Harmony Choir and Music Generation, with Oliver Carroll from WLR, as professional as ever, on MC duties.

The concert was a free event however the crowds donated a total of €2,751.90 to the bucket collection in aid of St Vincent De Paul.

The concert will be replayed on WLR on Christmas Day at 3pm and on St Stephens Day at 7pm.
