It took until 3:30am on Monday morning but the four TDs for Waterford have been elected.
David Cullinane
Sinn Féin's David Cullinane was the first TD elected, topping the poll with a mammoth 20,569 votes.
His historic win meant no other candidate could be elected reaching the quota.
His surplus 9,817 votes were distributed.

Mary Butler
Fianna Fáil's Mary Butler was elected on the seventh count.

Matt Shanahan
24/7 cardiac care campaigner Matt Shanahan was also elected on the seventh count, despite not reaching the quota.

Marc O'Cathasaigh
Green Party's Marc O'Cathasaigh also didn't reach the quota but he took the fourth and final seat.
