Record numbers filled the streets under sunny skies for the Solas Run & Walk For Life 2024, uniting communities in hope and support, with WLR as media partners.
The 16th annual Solas Cancer Support Centre Run and Walk for Life took place on October 12th in Dungarvan and October 13th in Waterford City, with a record-breaking turnout. Over 700 participants joined in Dungarvan, and 2,800 created a vibrant "Sea of Orange" in Waterford, while many more took part virtually around the world. Sponsored by UPMC – Hillman Cancer Support, the event brought communities together to share stories of hope and resilience, raising awareness for those affected by cancer.
