This Sunday 2nd February is World Wetlands Day. This is an international day to celebrate your local peatlands, rivers, mudflats, estuaries, lakes and marshes.
On Sunday in Tramore from 10.30a.m. to 12.30 p.m. ornithologist Denis Cullen will hold a FREE birdwatching event in the bird hide at Tramore Nature Park. This is a fantastic way to get your eye in to identify some of the incredible birds that gather in Tramore Backstrand for winter before they start making their way back to Iceland, Greenland and Northern Europe.
Come down and join in for some expert knowledge. Suitable for all ages.
