Mount Congreve Gardens Has Reopened To The Public
And it's even more spectacular than it was if that's possible.
Mount Congreve Gardens and grounds have been subject to serious renovations and have recently reopened with changes to the gardens, a new café offering and a gorgeous new gift shop.
The team at Mount Congreve plan to run lots of different events including afternoon tea, wreath making and drive-in Christmas movies to name but a few.

Located in the heart of County Waterford and open year-round, the world-renowned Mount Congreve Gardens are a haven for plant and history lovers alike as well as for those simply looking to relax in nature. Boasting one of the largest private collections of plants globally and described as ‘A Great Garden of the World’ the entire collection features plants from every continent.
Whether you live in Dungarvan or Dunmore East, Ireland’s Global Garden is on your doorstep. Mount Congreve Gardens are easily accessible by car from the N25, or directly from Waterford Greenway by foot or bike.
After you’ve taken a stroll in the gardens, enjoy a taste of the countryside in the new Stables Café which is a delightful setting for lunch or a light bite. Enjoy an extensive menu featuring an abundance of fresh local produce, prepared and cooked daily and where possible, Head Chef Kevin Byrne and his team use fruits, vegetables and herbs from the gardens.
