Do you live in Tramore or Waterford City? great news you can now earn extra money by becoming a host family.
Interline English are looking for local families who are interested in providing short-stay accommodation for students. They work with students from Spain and Italy. Students are between 10 and 16 years old and will be visiting Waterford this July to learn English.
Why host an international student?
Hosting an international student is a great way to learn about a new culture and language.
What will the host family need to provide?
Families will host students and provide full or half board accommodation and make the student feel at home in Waterford. The students are in school in Tramore from 09:00 to 12:30, returning home for lunch and back in the school from 14:30 to 17:30 to finally return home for dinner. Half board students will eat in the school meaning they will stay in school from between 09:00 and 17:30.
Remuneration
Every Saturday the students will go on a trip and Sundays spend some time with the Irish family. Host families will receive €230 per week for full board students and €180 per week for half board students. Families can host multiple students if they have adequate accommodation.
