Although still young, award winning performers KUDOS, have racked up an impressive list of live and radio performances. The two members, Sophie and Laura are sisters, who have performed at a host of venues internationally, from the US to the UK, Saint Helena Island to France and from South Africa to their native Ireland: they have wowed audiences everywhere. Their music has been described as 'sun kissed atmospheric pop'.
Both are multi-instrumentalists, playing guitar and piano and utilize their exceptional voices and haunting harmonies to perform their own songs and make covers their own. Sophie has also completed the world-renowned Berklee College Summer Music programme in Valencia.
KUDOS released their first single 'Pass Another Glass' on January 1st, 2018. Their second track and video 'Empty Sea' was released on February 1st, 2018. Their third, 'Wait In Line' released on July 15th, 2018, with their debut album 'Perfect', due for release later in the year.
The girls dropped in to the WLR studios to perform on The Drive Home Live Sessions, performing the album's title track 'Perfect' and an award winning cover of Kodaline's 'All I Want'.
In The Drive Home Live Session, you'll also hear about their life split between Ballycotton in Cork and the remote, tiny South Atlantic island of Saint Helena (which takes 6 days to reach by boat from Johannesburg! It's also where Napoleon was exiled too following his escape from the Italian island of Elba!) and you'll hear about the music video they recently shot in Tramore for their latest single 'Wait In Line'.
