Timing of Works on Grattan Square in Dungarvan Questioned - Deise Today Wednesday 10th June

As businesses start to re-open in the town of Dungarvan, the main square in the town, Grattan Square, is closed for essential repair work. Damien speaks to local Sinn Fein councillor Conor McGuinness who asks could the timing have been better.

The Waterford City and county council is also looking to install the device at a number of city centre locations for customers peace of mind.

Frank Ronan, the CEO of The Port of Waterford talks about the potential of off-shore wind energy. A new report has identified the port as an ideal location for such a development.
