Limit of 90 minutes to eat in pubs - Deise Today Wednesday 16th June

Under new regulations people may only be allowed spend 90 minutes in restaurants and pubs that serve food when they reopen at the end of the month. It’s understood it will be part of new measures that will allow the two metre social distancing rule to be reduced to one in certain circumstances. Customers will also have to pre-book and spend at least nine euro on a substantial meal. Damien speaks to Waterford pub owner Helena Goff from The Local Bar in Dungarvan.

After much speculation over the past few weeks today Waterford FC confirmed that the manager Alan Reynolds has left the club after three years in management. During his time as manager he secured promotion from the First to Premier Division in year one, and drove the club on to reach a European position in 2018, to then consolidate Waterford as a top flight club in 2019. He talks to Damien about the decision to leave.
