€39 million announced for North Quays development - Deise Today Thursday 14th November

There was a massive announcement on Deise Today on Thursday morning. Sinn Fein TD David Cullinane revealed that a full allocation of €39 million will be made by the government for the relocation of the train station in Waterford, a piece of infrastructure that is vital for the North Quays development to progress.

Also on the show Damien speaks to "Margaret" who tells of her experience of anti social behaviour living in an estate in Waterford City.

Damien also speaks to Irish Times journalist Jack Power about last nights Primetime Investigates programme on historical cases of abuse within Scouting organisations.

Driving Instructor Ciaran Kennedy gives the drivers point of view on the new regulations in relation to cyclists.

And Waterford playwright Jim Nolan speaks about the late Niall Tobin, who he knew and had worked with.

In the second hour Damien speaks to proud father Noel O Connor whose son Lee will start for The Republic of Ireland senior team in tonight's international friendly against New Zealand at Aviva Stadium.  Lee has already captained the U21's Ireland team.
