A number of chronic pain suffers have joined forces calling for the HSE to reinstate Versatis patches, after being removed by the HSE from all schemes, (Drug Payment Scheme, Hard-ship Scheme, & Medical Card Scheme).
The group are called 'Patch Us Back Up' and consists of a group of 3,000 people, and Co. Waterford member Denise Sheehan spoke to Eamon about what it is like to live with chronic pain.
Denise from Tallow who was previously in as a car accident in 2009, told Eamon she thought she had whiplash, but discovered 18 months later she had fractured her C6 and C7 in the neck.
