Who died on Saturday 23rd April 2022
Predeceased by her loving parents, brother Henry and sisters Mary and Eithna

Following a short illness, Bernie (Sr Bernadette), passed away peacefully in the University Hospital Waterford.

Bernie will be sadly missed by her religious community and loving family,
brother Gerard McNally and sister Anne Bradley, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law,
nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews extended family, relatives and her many friends.

May Bernie’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

Reposing in Thompsons Funeral Home, Barrack Street on Monday (25th April) from 11 am

with removal at 12:30 pm to St John’s Church, Parnell Street for Mass on arrival at 1 pm

followed by burial in the Convent Cemetery, Hennessy’s Road.

Sr Bernie's Mass will be live-streamed from 1pm on Monday by following the link here

What an amazing beautiful peaceful person who we all felt safe with we knew sr marie bernadette as our mother .i know so many things have happened now in our own lives that thanks to sr marie it prepared us for a world that scared me but to still have that connection meant we always could reach out to our mother for safety. God has now only takeing back an angel whom he allowed us here on earth to borrow i would not be who i am to day for that angel who taught me to read write know how to use the clock she spent so much time teaching me and as i to suffered severe illnesses sr marie was always there hospitals rest pure soul may god light tour way and be with them whom have lit the way for you anne gene and shelly xxxx
