Who died on Wednesday 14th August 2024

Former Caretaker of St. Saviours National School.

Late of Leamy Street.

Predeceased by his loving wife Nancy, his parents, May and Michael, his sisters Caroline and Maureen and his brother Jack.

Roger passed away after a short illness peacefully, surrounded by his beloved family.

He will be forever missed by his son Michael, daughter Ann Marie and will be sadly missed by his adoring grandchildren Conor and Aaron, his daughter-in-law Nell, son-in-law Dan. He will be lovingly remembered by his sisters, Breda, Peggy, Pauline, Rose and Terry, brothers-in-law, his nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May his Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Roger will be reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Waterford on Friday (16th August) from 7 pm to 8:30 pm with vigil prayers and rosary at 8 pm.

Walking from his residence on Saturday to St. Saviours Church, Ballybeg for Mass on arrival at 10 am, followed by burial in St. Otteran’s Cemetery.
