Predeceased by her husband Michael, brothers and sisters.
Rita will be sadly missed by her brother Dermot, sisters Ita (Byrne) and Doreen (O’Neill), nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, extended family, her wonderful neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Thompsons Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Waterford on Wednesday (27th December) from 3:30 pm with concluding vigil prayers and rosary at 4:45 pm.
Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11 am in St. Mary’s Church, Ballygunner, Waterford followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
