Mrs. Maura Begadon (née Kennedy), Belvedere Drive and formerly of Johnstown, Waterford.

Maura Passed away peacefully at Mooncoin residential Care Home, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday 27th August 2024 R.I.P.

Predeceased by her parents and brothers Sonny and Michael, sisters Eily and Bridie.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband Martin (Sonkey), daughters Valerie, Janet and Joanne, her adoring grandchildren Luke, Amber, Anthony, Gavin, Jayne, Dylan and Conor, sons-in-law Liam, Derek and David, she will be fondly remembered by her sisters Kathleen and Rita and brothers Jim and Pat, her nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

May her gentle and kind soul rest in peace

Reposing at Falconers Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore (X91 TW21) on Friday (30th August) from 6pm to 8pm, with prayers at 7pm.

Requiem Mass on Saturday (August 31st) at 11am in Saint John’s Church, Parnell Street, followed by burial immediately afterwards in Faithlegg Cemetery.

Maura’s funeral cortège will pass her residence at 10:30am en route to St. John’s Church.
