Mrs. Johanna (Anna) Taheny née Power, St. Oliver's, Holycross, Butlerstown and formerly of The Hill, Kilmacthomas.
Johanna passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the tender and excellent care of The Little Sisters of the Poor, Ferrybank.
Sunday 12th January 2025, aged 94 years. (R.I.P.)
Predeceased by her beloved husband Paddy and daughters Finola and Ann.
Loving and much loved mother of Thomas, Michael, John, Catherine (Feely) and Paurick, she will be sadly missed by her adoring grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Anna will be fondly remembered by her sister Kitsey, daughters-in-law Karen, Laura, Maria and Siobhan, sons-in-law Mick Feely and Steve Mannas, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
May her gentle and kind soul rest in peace.
Reposing at Falconers funeral home, Riverstown, Tramore (X91 TW21) on Thursday (16th January) from 8pm to 9:30pm with prayers at 8:30pm.
Requiem Mass on Friday (17th January) in the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Butlerstown at 12noon, immediately afterwards Johanna will be laid to rest in All Saints Church cemetery, Newtown, Kilmacthomas.
