Anne Tyers (née Grant)
Late of Moonvoy, Tramore, Co. Waterford,
and formerly of Clonmel, Co. Tipperary,
passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Tramore Nursing Home.
On Monday, 26th of June, 2023
Predeceased by her beloved husband Bernard.
Anne will be deeply regretted by her children Áine and Bernard, her brother Angus, sister-in-law Breda, son-in-law Ken, daughter-in-law Belén, and grandchildren George, Tom, and Flora.
Áine and Bernard would like to express their eternal gratitude to "Team Anne" - Bernie, Breda, Carmel, Charlotte, Debbie, John, Lorcán, Nuala, Pat, Phil, and Tina - who over the years cared for Anne with compassion, kindness, and dignity, supported her daily with their friendship, endless good humour, and never-ending resourcefulness.
Áine and Bernard would also like to thank the staff of Tramore Nursing Home for their gentle care of Anne in her final weeks, and HSE healthcare professionals Trish Timmons, and Sile Byrne, whose support and advocacy made Anne's later life as comfortable as possible.
Anne’s remains will be reposing at Falconer's Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore, on Wednesday, the 28th of June, from 5 pm to 7 pm. For those who wish to participate remotely at Anne's reposal, please follow the link below for Falconer's Funeral Home livestream:
Anne's Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday, the 29th of June, at 11:30 am at the Holy Cross Church, Tramore, with burial immediately afterward in the adjoining Cemetery. For those who wish to participate remotely at Anne's Requiem Mass, please follow the link below: Anne's funeral cortège will walk from Tramore Credit Union to the Holy Cross Church, Tramore, for her Requiem Mass at 11:30 am.
