John McNeil, Late of Moonvoy Valley, Tramore, Co. Waterford, formerly of Comeragh Estate, Tycor. Waterford City.
Retired member of the Defence Forces.
John passed tragically, on Friday the 7th of June 2024 RIP.
Predeceased by his beloved parents William and Kitty.
John will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken wife Joan his beloved children Ian and Niamh, his adoring grandson Odhrán, Ian's partner Celina, Niamh's partner Mark, his brothers and sisters-in-law and all his nieces, nephews,. He will be forever missed by all his relatives, extended family, wonderful neighbours and many many friends.
The McNeil family would like to thank with great appreciation the Emergency Services who were truly heroic in their efforts to help John.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
John will be reposing at Falconer's Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore, Co. Waterford on Monday, the 10th of June, from 5pm to 7pm.
All are welcome.
John's Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday, the 11th of June, at 10 am at The Church of the Holy Cross, Tramore, Co. Waterford. Immediately after John will be laid to rest in St. Otteran's Cemetery, Ballynaneashagh, Waterford City. For those who wish to take part in John's Requiem Mass remotely, please follow the link here.
John's funeral cortege will walk from Tramore Credit Union Corner at approximately 09:45am (weather permitting) to arrive for his Requiem Mass at 10 am.
After his Requiem Mass, his cortege will pass the top of Monvoy Valley at approximately 11:10 am enroute to his burial in St. Otteran's Cemetery, Ballynaneashagh, Waterford City.
