Captained the Mount Sion CBS 1953 Harty Cup winning team and was a member of the 1959 All Ireland Winning Waterford Hurling team.

Died 19th December 2024 in his 91st year
Predeceased by his daughter Helen, father Edward, mother Bridget and brother Mattie.
Much loved husband of Brigid (Brid) and adored father of Eamon, Frank, Martin Róisin and Niamh. Will be sadly missed by his sisters Bridie and Maura, daughters-in-law Val, Shellagh and Kim, sons-in-law Denis and Graham, his beloved grandchildren Óisin, Eóin, Dylan, Liam, Harri and Maebh, great grandchildren Chloe and Michael, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended families, neighbours and friends

Reposing at Tom Hennessy’s Funeral Home, 45A Johnstown, Waterford (X91 FW4A), on Saturday December 21st from 6.00pm to 8.00pm.
Requiem Mass on Sunday December 22nd in the Church of the Most Holy Trinity Without, Ballybricken, Waterford at 1.30pm,
followed by burial in St. Otteran’s Cemetery, Ballinaneeshagh, Cork Road, Waterford.
