Predeceased by his sister-in-law Joan (Retford).
Loved and sadly missed by his beloved wife Stella, his children Brendan Jnr, Aisling and Clodagh,
his grandchildren Liam and Nora, his sisters Olive, Pat and Alison,
Stella's brothers Michael, John and Gerard,
extended family, relatives, neighbours and all his friends in Waterford, United States and all over the world.
May his gentle Soul Rest in Peace
Brendan’s Memorial Mass will take place on Wednesday the 3rd of August at 12 noon,
in the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity Within, Waterford City.
Interment of ashes will take place privately.
All are Welcome

Met Brendan several times and he always had a smile and a word to say. He truly was Waterford. He never forgot his roots. My sincere condolences to you all. May Brendan rest in peace.

So sorry we were unable to attend the mass for Brendan, as we had planned to do. Brendan was such a kind and gentle person with enormous talent. It's a privilege to know you both. He was so proud of his family.
I first met Brendan and yourself on your honeymoon in Palma all those years ago and I think I owe you an apology Stella for gatecrashing your special time together. You were both so gracious.
I will never forget this wonderful humble man. May he rest in peace.

Dear Stella and family: Grateful thanks for all the years of dancing to Brendan and the Royal Showband. Many an autograph I collected after exhausting hours of music and dance. Later in life Stanley Bowyer was my teacher of liturgical Song .
