The members of Kilmacthomas community will gather together on Friday 15th December to launch their memorial tree in aid of the WLR Christmas Appeal for St Vincent De Paul.
The day will start with a mass at 10am in Our Lady of Mercy church with students from the Kilmacthomas primary school in attendance.
The charity memorial tree, which is in the grounds of the church, will then be blessed and launched, with a special visit from Santa himself.
The students will then return to the school where they will be entertained by WLR's Oliver Carroll, with fabulous raffle prizes up for grabs.

All proceeds collected on the day will go to the local branch of The St Vincent De Paul.
