The Dungarvan Brass Band packed the crowds into The Friary Church last night (Wednesday 4th Dec) for a special Christmas concert.
The event was run as part of the Christmas Appeal and a huge thank you also to the talents of The Voiceover Choir, The Friary Choir, Harmony Childrens Choir, Music Generation, Cor Fear na nDeise and Sara Lou with Oliver Carroll from WLR,on MC duties.
The concert was a free event however the crowds donated a total of €3,155 to the bucket collection in aid of St Vincent De Paul.
Our thanks to William Dee who organised the event, to Fr. Seamus Humphreys and Fr. Gerry Horan for the use of the church, Sarah Morrissey and local businesses who gave so kindly to the free Raffle and to all the performers, helpers and everyone who gave so generously to this worthy cause.
On Wednesday 4th December the 2024 Dungarvan Christmas Concert returns to The Friary Church in Dungarvan. Featuring: Dungarvan Brass Band, Voiceover Choir, Friary Choir, Cór Fear Na Déise, Harmony Children’s Choir, Music Generation Waterford and Special Guest, Sara Lou.
Compere for the evening will be The Big Breakfast Blaa's, Oliver Carroll.
The concert will start at 7.20pm
Admission is free with a bucket collection for the WLR Christmas Appeal in aid of St Vincent de Paul
