The latest breakdown of covid cases by electoral area has been released.
The figures show the incidence of the virus remains high in the Dungarvan area.
This is third week in a row where Dungarvan is higher than the national average, however the number cases in the area which stretches from Lemybrien to Knockanore has dropped significantly.
There were 83 cases in the 2 weeks to Monday (July 12th) to given an incidence rate of 455 per 100 thousand people - down from last week's high of 770.
Elsewhere in Waterford, the picture remains similar to the previous week with all areas below the national average of 151 cases per 100,000 popn.
There was a decline in case numbers too in all areas, except for Tramore/City West which had 18 cases to give an incidence rate of 80.5.
The worst affected area in the country remains in the North West, where Buncrana had 240 cases to give a rate of 1,073, followed by Carndonagh which has a rate of 849.
