Since it finished in 2004, Friends, one of the most successful TV shows of all time, has been played on repeat globally. Its arrival to streaming service Netflix in recent years created a whole new generation of fans. So if you're someone who's seen every episode at least twice, who has gotten in arguments about whether Ross and Rachel were on a break, or who knows all the lyrics to Smelly Cat, then surely the news of a Friends reunion has you saying 'Oh..My.. GOD' just like Janice.
The much anticipated event, which will stream on HBO Max on May 27th, won't see the cast in character, but rather the six friends reminiscing about their time on the hit show that ran for ten years. There will be lots of inputs from other celebs too; Lady Gaga, Kit Harrington and Tom Selleck (who played Monica's older boyfriend Richard) to name but a few.
Here's the trailer to whet your appetite
If you're excited, well, you're not alone. Jennifer Aniston's Instagram post about the reunion was liked by millions. Whether it's your bag or not, there's no denying the phenomenal global success of Friends.
