Compiled by Matt Keane
Dundalk proved too strong for Waterford FC at the RSC on Friday night.
Andy Boyle headed the visitors in front after 25 minutes when he rose unmarked to finish off a Michael Duffy free-kick from the right.

John Martin struck the Dundalk woodwork on two occasions afterwards.
Waterford had only two outfield substitutes due to injuries. The Blues manager Kevin Sheedy said afterwards that he would not put Academy player's on the bench as he feels young player's are not getting protection from referees.

The win sees Stephen Bradley's side join Dublin neighbours St. Pat's at the top of the table after they enjoyed a 3-0 win over Longford Town
