Maria drops into us on The Big Breakfast Blaa every Friday, to discuss something she's been watching. This week she chose a movie, a psychological thriller to be precise. Run is a 2020 film which landed to Netflix earlier this month.
Directed by Aneesh Chaganty, it tells the story of home-schooled teenager Chloe Sherman (Kiera Allen) who suspects that her mother Diane (Sarah Paulson) is keeping a dark secret from her.

Maria says while there are certainly shades of Misery to this movie, Run is more than just a copy of the Stephen King classic; she says it will keep you watching and has a cracking ending.
