The incidence of Covid-19 in Waterford has fallen to its lowest level since the 19th of December
The 14-day incidence per 100,000 people is now 97.3.
It peaked at 2,058 cases per 100,000 people on the 16th of January, it has fallen by 95 per cent since then.
311 new cases of Covid-19 and 30 additional deaths have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland this evening.
12 deaths occurred in March, 13 in February, 4 in January and 1 is under investigation.
135 of the new cases are in Dublin, 29 in Kildare, 21 in Cork, 18 in Limerick and 14 in Louth. There are 8 new cases in Waterford.
397 people with the disease are currently being treated in hospital, of which 95 are in ICU.
Ireland's 14-day incidence rate's now 161 cases per 100,000 of the population - down from 201 this day last week.
