There will be no St Patrick's Day parade in Waterford this year.
Waterford Council has officially confirmed that the parade will not go ahead in the usual format due to Covid-19 restrictions.
They say that a decision on a re-imagined format will be made over the coming week.

Waterford Fianna Fail Councillor Jason Murphy says he would like to see funding set aside for parades reinvested in upgrading the People's Park.
He told the most recent meeting of Waterford Council that, "We should be looking at reinvesting the money that we put aside into capital projects.
"We've earmarked €45,000 in Waterford City, we've allocated €1,000 to Portlaw, €5,000 in Dungarvan and €5,000 in Tramore."
Councillor Murphy believes it should be spent on the fountain or used to light up the park.
