Shane Bennett could be set to return to the Waterford senior hurling set-up.
The Irish Examiner reports that the Ballysaggart man has been in touch with manager Liam Cahill.
Shane Bennett stepped away from the panel in late 2019 however the now 24-year-old is expected to link up with his brothers Kieran and Stephen for the upcoming season.

In 2016 he was nominated for the Young Hurler of the Year award and was part of the All Ireland winning Under-21 team alongside his brother Stephen. Shane scored a goal in the Final win over Galway at Semple Stadium.
Waterford reached the All-Ireland SHC Final last month, losing out to a superior Limerick outfit by eleven points, the Déise are due to commence their Allianz NHL campaign in late February.
