Its been 61 years since Frank Walsh climbed the steps of the new Hogan Stand to claim the Liam McCarthy cup for Waterford.
At that time it had taken 11 years and a replay against Kilkenny to seal the deal - but the Deise were back at the top of the mountain.
Few would have believed it would be so long before another prize would make it back to Suirside - but this weekend might see that long-awaited reward arrive.
