A former health minister is urging GAA fans not to over-do their celebrations during the All-Ireland final weekends.
It comes ahead of the hurling decider on Sunday between Waterford and Limerick.
And on Saturday week, Dublin will battle it out with Mayo in the football final.
Gastro-pubs and restaurants are now open, but Higher Education Minister Simon Harris says people shouldn't throw caution to the wind.
"If you decide to go out with your friends to the pub with food and watch the match and follow all the public health guidelines there, that's perfectly appropriate.
"But, then don't feel like you need to go out the next night to the restaurant or another night to the pub.
"We just have to exercise that common sense, we all need to socialise from time to time, we all need friends and family from time to time, we just can't do as much of it as we would like to do."
