The Waterford Camogie Management team has decided to step down.
Fergal O' Brien, Dan Shanahan, and Pauline Casey have left their roles in charge of the senior camogie side effective immediately.
O’ Brien took over the job from Donal O’ Rourke in October 2019 having previously spent time with the senior hurlers in Derek McGrath’s backroom team.
The team reached an All-Ireland quarter-final earlier this month – failing to topple the Premier County.
It was the third successive year that the Deise reached the knockout stage of the championship and the third year that they were knocked out by Tipperary.
A statement released by the management team said -
“On behalf of the Waterford Senior Camogie Management team, we wish to announce that we are stepping down with immediate effect from our roles.
We wish to thank the fantastic bunch of players and backroom team for all their commitment and dedication.
We wish the players nothing but the very best in the future.
Fergal O’ Brien
Dan Shanahan
Pauline Casey”
