A man and a woman in their 30s were arrested yesterday morning in relation to the incident and were being held at Waterford Garda Station.
They have since been released without charge and files will now be prepared for the DPP.

€15,000 in cash, €4,000 worth of drugs and a shotgun have been seized at a home in Waterford city.
They were recovered on Wednesday morning from a residence in Williamstown.
On Tuesday, a search operation was carried out at St.Herblain Park by Gardaí attached to the Waterford Crime Unit assisted by uniform members in Waterford, the Armed Support Unit, Cahir and the Southern Region Dog unit. A small quantity of cocaine was seized that day.
It was during a follow-up search on Wednesday morning in Williamstown that Waterford City Gardaí seized the €15,000 in cash, which was hidden in a separate location within the residence. Cocaine and Alprazolam tablets (subject to analysis) were seized with an estimated street value of approximately €4,000 along with the double-barrelled shotgun.
A man and a woman in their mid-20s were arrested at the scene and taken to Waterford Garda Station where they were detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996. Both persons have since been released and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
This morning a man (35 years) and a woman (34 years) were arrested in relation to these seizures and are currently detained at Waterford Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
Investigations are ongoing.
