Smiles in the Sunny South-East as €1 million Lotto ticket sold in Tramore

The National Lottery has revealed that a winning Lotto ticket worth €1 million was sold at a store in Tramore.

This Lotto Quick Pick ticket, which has bagged the lucky winner the Lotto Plus 1 top prize of €1 million, was sold on Monday 2nd November at the Applegreen service station on the Waterford Road, Corbally Lower, Tramore, Co Waterford.

Speaking on selling this golden ticket, Becky O'Connell, assistant manager of the Applegreen store said:

"It was such a shock to find out that we sold this ticket and it's great to think that one of our customers is now a millionaire!

"Normally our trade is a mix of local and passing but with it being a little quieter fingers crossed the winner is a Tramore resident.

"We'll certainly be spreading the word to all our customers to remind them to check their tickets."

The winning Lotto Plus 1 numbers from Wednesday's draw (4th November) are: 06, 21, 23, 25, 32, 38 and the bonus number is: 18.

A National Lottery spokesperson said:

"It's important that we remind all our Waterford players, especially those who live in Tramore who stopped by this Applegreen and bought a Lottery ticket in the past week, to check their tickets very carefully.

"If you are the lucky ticketholder, please sign the back of the ticket and contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] and we will make arrangements for you to claim your prize."
