The West Waterford golfer finished on 11 under, tied with Americans Mathew Wolff, Bryson De Chambeau and Mark Hubbard.
Its his first PGA Tour start since the Puerto Rico Open in March.
The Waterford golfer impressed from the off in today's second round.
First three drives for @Power4Seamus - 304, 333 and 338 yards. It's not just Bryson DeChambeau who can unleash the Kracken.
