Money was minted in Waterford, in the 13th century
In his latest virtual tour of Waterford Treasures, Eamonn McEneaney told us all about the busy industry in Middle Ages Waterford, that was the minting of coins. Minting happened in a number of locations, including at Reginald's Tower for a period.
